Thanks, Jacy.
I am still waiting to hear when the dogs can move from Kenosha to Madison, so as soon as I hear that info, I'll be in touch with all of you to make arrangements. I'm hoping to hear this afternoon. Its a little bit chaotic down there right now with the last races happening, haulers coming from out of state to take dogs to other tracks, etc. I should know more soon...

Hey Everyone - it appears the 12 dogs we are getting to move to Madison will not be available until New Year's DAY, instead of the 31st. I sent an email to all of you who have said you can transport. Please let me know who is available now for New Year's Day to help move these dogs. Sorry for the change - out of my control!
I do appreciate your help! _________________ The Paulus Printing Gang

I have a question about the dogs coming to the Madison area. Will volunteers be needed for helping with these dogs like the kennel days at Emerald? _________________ Bonnie |

UDPATE!!!
Our transport of dogs is ready to go tomorrow morning bright and early! Thank you to everyone who offered to help, and those few folks that are getting up super early after celebrating New Year's Eve to get these dogs moved. By tomorrow mid day, 12 dogs will be enjoying the new warmth of Penny's kennel and getting themselves ready to meet adoptive families in the very near future! Whoot!
As for the folks who offered to cover those out of state apps - I didn't get to scanning those this week, but will work on that next week and get those over to all of you who offered to help contact those folks. Appreciate the help... .more to come.
Happy New Year Everyone! _________________ The Paulus Printing Gang

i used to go to the kennels weekly to give baths, treats and love... also did alot of transporting the greys to have spay/neuter and always seemed to have a foster here at home.. i loved it, but seemed to burn myself out.. lately i have been wanting to get back into helping out and after going to the kennels today made me really realize how badly i want to help again!! everyone is so nice.. if all people in the world were greyhound people the world could be close to perfection!! so here is a part of "perfection"... my boy BairBair

Everything went fine, Aly! We got 12 very nice dogs moved over to Penny's kennel on Friday. There was some jockeying around with timing and where the dogs were located, but thanks to all our fantastic drivers, by late afternoon the pups were all pottied, fed and napping in the warmth of their new digs.
We'll be working hard on cat testing and personality profiling these dogs after they've had a chance to settle in - then some lucky families will be invited to meet them to see if they are matches for them.
